Alberta Direct Trade

The Alberta direct cattle trade on Wednesday remained untested. Canfax reports: "Live bids have been reported in the mid 160's and are fully steady with last week's weighted average price. Both buying and selling interest has been somewhat limited this week. If bids do not improve producers will likely carry cattle into next week. Seasonally it is not uncommon to see fed prices tick higher or see a spring price rally."
