The BUILD Leadership Development program, initiated by BFO and delivered by the Rural Ontario Institute, was launched in December 2011. Since its inception, 75 participants have completed the leadership training program

Who should apply?
This program not only provides industry participants with the knowledge and confidence to excel as leaders, it supports those farmers who are capable of moving the Ontario beef industry forward, providing stronger leadership capacity for the entire BFO organization.
What's involved in the BUILD Leadership Program?
The curriculum will be delivered in three consecutive sessions over three days preceded by an evening welcome session. Each session builds upon the previous session’s learnings. The knowledge and skills developed will include a focus on the individual, on effective meetings, and on the BFO organization.
How to get involved
2017 Condensed Course:
April 18-21, 2017 - Smith Falls, ON
$150.00 (refundable upon full completion of the program). BFO will reimburse hotel costs (room and tax) based upon shared accommodations and meal expenses when submitted with receipts.
