Quinte Stocker Pre-sale Report for Sept. 20, 2019

As of Tuesday evening, Sept. 17, consignments for the "vaccinations preferred" sale on Sept. 20 [11a.m.] total approximately 525 with the expectation that we will probably exceed 600 by sale time.  The vast majority of the cattle consigned have been live vaccinated .  There is a small percentage of non vaccinated with some of these being double moved.  The offering is split fairly evenly between heavier [800 lb. +] and calves largely ranging from 500 to 750 lb.  As always there are usually added valuevaccinations for Blackleg, Pasteurella, Somnus, as well as parasite control.  Many consignors are prepared to guarantee their heifers to be open.  Char/CharX  represents the largest breed influence with significant influence of Angus[Black and Red], Simm, Limo, and Hereford, all usually in Xbreds.   THIS WILL NOT BE A VIDEO SALE.
