The Quebec Electronic Market

The Quebec Electronic Market reported for this week ranged from $240.00-$244.00 dressed, down $0.74 from last week on average.


Alberta Direct Trade

The Alberta direct trade on Thursday was light. Canfax reports: "light trade developed with dressed sales ranging from 225.00-227.00 delivered, sales are steady with the previous week. Some cattle have been pulled off this week's cash list and these cattle will instead be marketed on the grid. Cattle that traded on the cash market would be picked up in in 1-4 weeks. With the long weekend up coming packers are not expected to work this Saturday."

U.S. Trade (U.S. funds)

The U.S. cash cattle trade saw a light trade in the north at $160.00 dressed yesterday, which is steady to the week's trade and $2.00 stronger than last week. A handful of cattle sold in the south at $97.0-$97.50 live which is steady to the week's trade. A few clean up deals are possible today, especially in the north with asking prices at $162.00 dressed.
