Quinte Cattlemen's Association Stocker Sale 

 As of Tuesday morning, April 29, approximately 700 have been consigned with the 
expectation that our offering numbers will exceed 800 by sale time in this all vaccinated
sale.  Present consignments cover a range of weights from 450 lb. to 1000 lb., slanted
strongly to the heavier weights.  There is a very large number of double moved cattle.
Breed representation spans most of the common breeds with Char/CharX and B. Angus/
AngusX being most prominent, as well as a strong feature lot of Speckled Park calves.
Many of the consignors are prepared to guarantee their heifers to be open
                                          FEATURE ONE OWNER LOTS
[i}Approximately 225 double moved steers in the 1000 lb. weight range - large component
of Char, Simm, and Blacks- all properly vaccinated and guaranteed to be properly castrated-
fed by TMR and bunk adjusted - will sell in large, fancy, uniform ring lots-
[ii]Approximately 65 B. AngusX steers in the 725 -900 lb. range from a live vaccinated cowherd-
all banded at birth- vaccinated with a live 5way vaccine and Blackleg at early pasture time- at
weaning on Dec. 10,  calves were vaccinated again with a live 5way plus Blackleg,a pour on and an 
oral parasite control and were given Ferapease- fed balage, corn silage, wet distillers and premix
with rumensin bt TMR - bunk and waterbowl adjusted -
[iii]Approximately 50 Speckled Park heifers and steers in the 9 weight range - vaccinated with a 
live vaccine on Apr. 16- heifers are guaranteed to be open and steers have been castrated 
surgically-
[iv]40 Limo/CharX heifers and steers in the 800 - 900 lb. weight range from a long term live
vaccinated cowherd -vaccinated with live 5way in June/24 and again in December -parasite control
in Dec.- heifers are guaranteed to be open and steers have been castrated surgically - fed balage
and cracked corn -
[v]30 double moved cattle {mostly steers] in the 800 -1000 lb. weight range - vaccinated twice
with a live 5way vaccine and Blackleg with the most recent vaccination given in mid March -
fed haylage, corn silage and cracked corn -
