May 1, 2026 Stocker Sale Report

Sale date: May 1, 2026      Sales Barn-705-653-3660

Quinte Cattlemen's Association Stocker Sale

As of Tuesday morning, April 28, the consignment total for the May 1 sale is approximately 680 with the expectation that our numbers will reach 850+ by sale time. In this all vaccinated sale, there is a large component of double moved/vaccinated cattle. The weight range will be from high 4's to1000 lb. with the heavier end [850 - 1000 lb.] having stronger representation.  Char/CharX and Angus/AngusX are the strongest breed influences with significant Simm, Limo, and Hereford influence as well.  As usual, many producers are prepared to guarantee heifers to be open.  Modified live vaccine use is almost 100% with added value immunizations for Pasteurella, Blackleg, as well as parasite control.
